thanks for Video, good stuff... question, I am consider 2022 Freerider , new to Mountain sleds , been riding Crossovers for years ... but wanting to make a change , whats your thoughts on the Freerider and if you have any suggestion on size 146 vs 154 vs 165 , thanks man!
Le boss
Awesome intro!
Thanks!
You should bring one of these "rubberband stretchy bungyjump rope" that you can use and tow up a stuck sled with. I don't know the name of it but I guess you get the picture. Cheers from Northern Sweden 🍻
Fire starter and or flares, smoke grenade, bailing wire (maybe you had that?) extra sparkplugs, piece of tubing to be used as a siphon, extra pair of socks in case your feet get wet and you're in an overnight situation plus a couple small garbage bags, so your feet / new dry socks don't get wet from your boots if they're wet.
what is the secret to being able to go sledding for 57 days
Damn that snow is too deep
I am just getting into snowmobiling, and it is so much fun. But I have been sledding for like my hole life. U must be having a lot of fun
Tools! Wire! Hose! Missed a couple important ones.
@Muskoka Freerider Hose to siphon gas and oil out of tanks on those long long days, or mishaps. I remember that nice little brp tool kit, wonder how long it will stay rust free or if they gave it a really good corrosion resistance.
have the bro tool kit. I should have some wire
The view is unreal. This is what paradise looks like.
I recommend you build your first aid kit to include major accident repair stuff, if you really need first aide you need major stop bleed or split ability. Stop Bleed powder, heavy gauze, and a roll of self sticking wrap,I.e., vet wrap. After taking a tree limb in the eye going down hill faster than I should have, we changed our whole strategy of first aide in the back woods. You must be able to stop and control bleeding to make it out or to a lift point!
Plus a roll of wire added to duct tape can be a quick repair
5:30-8 was so great 😍
whenever you are in the trees, wherever i look you go so we have the same idea or mindset. thought it was interesting
"Definitely wanna bring some extra water... a muffin... uhm "
So slippery even the Dodge can spin the tires! Must've been icy!
What is ur favourite place to ride
@Muskoka Freerider have u been to mica mountain
Anywhere in BC!
Some very beautiful video. Looks so peaceful
What mountain were you on in this video
Sickkkk jump boys Austin turning him self into a great mountain rider
He’s come a long way 👍
What kind of camera do you use? Killin it with the consistent videos! Makes me really want to get a sled. Love from the lower mainland
Sony A7siii / iPhone 11 Pro/ GoPro 9
How about a saw
I have one. Just like I didn’t mention probe and shovel
Where is you second been man ?
What does this guy do for work
I work hard for the man
At 19:42 that sight can turn a frown upside down real quick wow what you guys are able to take in while your doing all this awesome stuff is really special and you guys are lucky and blessed.
I shoulda 😂🤣😂🤣
Your snowmobile is also your most expensive shovel🤔
Where’s the 146??
I’ll be on it tomorrow!
A Freerider/Grind Hard Plumbing Co vid... that would be sick
@Muskoka Freerider umm... im pretty sure theyre in North Idaho
Where is he out of?
Can you do a vid on coaching us please
What happened to sled #2...I think the turbo
What's the purpose of blacking out your headlights?
He broke them haha
Do you sell those free rider stickers
Yes I do! They will be on the website mid March
Carry a extra belt
I do in the sled
24:21 “not sure what tomorrow holds..” 20k subs....that’s what’s going down tomorrow. LETS GOOOOOO!
Maybeeee
Lol holly shit hiw do you fit all that onto that bag lol i like to pack light easier to maneuver the sled i think
It’s a big one! I like having all this stuff with me but would be nice having someone else carry it 😂
Love the daily uploads keep on doing it
How many kilometers have you done so far in the trip??
@Muskoka Freerider dang! That'll take me years to put that on!
About 3600
Hey Matt, I liked the creativity in filming and editing. You gave us some content with a new look.
Thanks!
I'd love to try out a sled like yours. It seems so easy to maneuver quickly and responsively. I've got a 2012 154" summit and the thing is heavy and hard to ride. hopefully after a season on it I'll be a better ride when i get a newer one! can't wait to get one of these new machines and see what it can do!
The new sleds are so crazy to ride! You’ll be so In love when you’re able to get a new sled
what altitude do ride at mostly video are great make me wish i was a younger man keep up the good work
1700-2200 meters about
Sam splint or closed cell foam you can shape into neck/limb splint with duct tape. Fire starter of some kind (tampon, etc.) And do a wilderness first aid course so you know what to do. Helicopters can’t always fly. Eight-hour rescue last weekend and we used every piece of gear we had.
Good idea 👍 I have first aid but should take wilderness first aid
Matt, what u need in your bag: MORE BEEF JURKEY!!! I love beef jurkey so much when ever I go to the store I'm like mom can I get beef jurkey? Please? But she is ordering me a huge bag so I will be happy for like 2 months.
Matt ... I don’t know how long it takes you at the end of the day to put a video of your day riding together. But one thing for sure, I freaking do appreciate the time and efforts you put into it and every single day you deliver buddy. Just look at today’s intro for example. It was another unique and an awesome one again. You raise the bar every single day. Keep delivering ... I just LOVE every minute and how you showcase your passion for the sport. That’s another A+++ in my book 😉.
Depends on the day. Last night was pretty late 2:30am and I didn’t even finish getting it uploaded till this morning. That’s the latest day this year. Thanks for the support!!!
Thanks for the gear show and tell👍🇨🇦
How many belts u gone through on that turbo?
How many gallons of oil have you burned this year?
Love your channel!! I've been watching every new video that comes out even though I'm just a flatlander. But what's up with all the ads all of sudden??? Other than that keep up the new material and great work!!
So famous now that he can't even interact with the fellow sledders or "fans" :O
I reply to almost every comment so not sure what you’re saying lol
Another awesome video. Pritty cool hearing the boys yelling after a landing. Gets my adrenaline going. Thanks for vlogging. Cheers
Yeah it’s cool to hear the excitement!
A splint and tourniquet are always good to have
Awesome ride and video!!!! Love it!!!
Thanks!
You need the 175
@Muskoka Freerider well now you have and even a turbo!
I want to try one!
Love seeing the 0 dislikes
2:38 welcome to Sweden :D
You should go for a 146 and 165 next year. 154 is a good length for someone who only has 1 sled but it sometimes falls a bit short in the terrain you're in.
@Pat Heron haha yeah
I agree too. I think the expert 165 would be good for tree riding and exploring. Matt should be called "Muskoka tree rider."
I agree with you!
12:00 got we think Nah no Pro RMK we need a turbo 😎
you should bring a Lynx (;
U should being a saw
Most shovels have a saw built into the handle. Mine has a saw and a compass but it didn't take long before the compass got smashed on a tree or something.
I have one. It’s with my shovel and probe
First aid kit isn’t a bad idea
How do you even have so much money? Btw i like your videos
Don't run over the big mounds, could be a sleeping Sasquatch! Jumping Sqauatches, with the Free Ride! Well I'm going to the casino tonight, gotta get me a sled again! I'm a fat Flat lander, but I've been juicing so I can ride all day with you!
Juicing haha come on out
Flare/bear bangers. If you're spending the night, you want to be able to put on a firework show to entertain yourself.
You gotta get does linglong tires for your truck🤣
Makes me happy that your attitude towards building jumps is the same as mine lol Waste of time. Natural or not at all lol
Never a waste of time🤘🏽
Another great video Matt. Keep up the good work and happy birthday Chloe.
🤣🤣 I'm the jerry for today, felt the same way last sat on our way out from riding over the hood pow all day,
